No tickets, no cover, no membership. Anyone who wants to dance can dance.

Under trees, under sky, on grass. Never in a box with a roof.

Kids, parents, elders, dogs, strangers. Everyone belongs on the dancefloor.

We meet ourselves and each other wherever we are.

Light Beam Dance is one of those places. Wherever it happens.

How our dancers describe being a light beam.

Embodying and shining your most radiant and authentic self unapologetically
Being a source of my own light and my chosen distortion of light is a rainbow. All light beams are unique and yet we come from the same source like every drop of the ocean
For me, a light beam is about the flicker. It's not a single beam of light. It's a flash of energy that we can channel within us. It's like a fire and it feels like my body is dazzling. That aliveness is like a firework.
I have this image of a beam of light coming out of darkness. It makes me think of the importance of going through a black hole and coming out of it. Trust that when you go into a black hole that you'll come out of the other side.
Light beam makes me think of a bat symbol or a light house. It's a symbol that there is something there. In the Batman movies, the signal is one of hope.
Being a light beam is losing form as you move, spin, and surrender to the music. You look brighter and feel lighter. So much of the illusion of form is an illusion.
