Light Beam Dance is a weekly outdoor gathering for movement, connection, and liberation in nature. It's free, family friendly, and open to everyone walking by.
Why we exist
We gather under a willow tree named Dancer at Green Lake to move, connect, and feel free — in our bodies and with each other. The dance begins with a drop in, short introductions, and the shared intent of the dance to be a safe space for people to experience coherence individually and as a collective. 🙏
There's a sign that says "Dance With Us" and a beam of welcoming energy that invites anyone walking by to join. Please come — and spread the word.
The three components
The Drop In
Movement, mindfulness, or breath work — a gentle on-ramp into the body and the group.
The Dance
Led by 1–3 DJs. A wave of sound for free expression. No experience needed, no judgment, no shoes required.
Integration
A closing to land the energy of the dance and the connections made — together.
